MC's defensive attack of Lexi Reeves, Maggie Wilson, Alyssa Kral and Emilie Guigou kept King at bay for the first half to preserve the early lead.

Sipos notched her second goal of the match in the 48th minute. Hannah Clothier crossed into the box, as King keeper Lindsey Dunham blocked it away. Sipos collected it just outside the goal on the right side, blasting a goal into the upper left corner to give the Scots a 3-0 advantage.

Van Hook would collect her first collegiate goal in the 56th minute. Van Hook split a pair of defenders before launching a high shots from 25 yards out on the right side of the box. The shot would fall just under the crossbar on the right side of the goal, making the score 4-0.

Maryville would get that goal back just four minutes later for their fifth of the match. Kelsey Green pushed a pass outside the box on the right side to find Boone. Boone would take a pair of dribbles, before going opposite post for her first goal of the season.

The Scots would hold that lead for their third victory of the 2018 campaign.
