The Maryville College women's golf program battled to a 10th place finish at the MCC Women's Intercollegiate at Montgomery Country Club in Montgomery, Alabama concluding on Sunday.
Centre College took the team title with a 294-306 (600). Their plus-24 collective performance paced a dozen NCAA Division III women's golf participating programs.
The Scots complete the two-day event in 357-351 (708) to place within the event's top ten.
Centre College placed the top two individual finishers. Bailey Plourde earned the tournament solo title with a 69-70 (139) while her teammate Rylee Suttor went 69-77 (146) to finish second overall.
Maryville's Hannah Doherty played MC's most consistent rounds placing 38th with an 82-83 (165). Katelyn Witucki had a strong first round of 79 before finishing on Sunday with an 89 for a total of 168 and a 45th place finish. Bailee Powell tallied a 94-90 (184) for a 61st place finish while Laura Russell finished 66th with a 102-89 (191).
The Scots will now prepare for the Chick-Fil-A Invitational in Rome, Georgia on October 21-22.
