Scots fall to William Peace on the road 1-0

The Maryville College men's soccer program dropped their second consecutive USA South match with a 1-0 shutout at the hands of William Peace University in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday evening.

The Pacers (9-5-2, 7-4-1 USA South) and keeper Dillon Garbrandt limited Maryville to seven shots on goal by seven different Scots with Garbrandt turning away each strike on net.

William Peace tallied their eventual game-winner when Osciel Dominguez directed a free-kick gathered by Jose Aguirre for his third goal of the season.

Maryville tallied 19 total shots during the challenge paced by Ndubueze Henry's four shots and Johnny Rakhmonberdiev and Austin Vinyard each had a trio of attacks.

The Scots (10-7, 8-4 USA South) will travel to Greensboro College on Saturday for a 4:00 p.m. first touch.
