JUNIOR: Miettinen played in all 19 games as a junior with 15 of them being starts and he finished the season with 3 goals, 2 assists and 8 points. Kai recorded 24 shots on the season with 14 of them being on goal. For his excellent play in the conference tournament Kai was named to the USA South All-Tournament Team.
PREP: Kai was a standout midfielder for the Admirals under Head Coach Wallie Culbreth. Miettinen was a four-year letterman in varsity soccer and was a three-time All-State selection. Miettinen played his club soccer for FC Alliance under the direction of Chad Stocton.
PERSONAL: Kai is a Biology major, and he is the son of Juha and Whitney Miettinen.
