The Maryville College men's golf program finished the 2019 Tom Kinder Memorial in sixth place among 17 NCAA Division III schools after posting team scores of 296-299 (595) for a 19-over par effort.
McDaniel College claimed the team championship at the Harrisonburg, Virginia course with a 290-294 (584) thirty-six-hole total.
Alex Rubino earned the individual title with a 72-68 (140) finishing with a 4-under par performance.
Maryville College's top individual performer was Jacob Dunlap. His 75-72 (147) finished 3-over par and 14th among the 88 collegiate golfers. Brady Orr and Andy Cofer each finished tied for 22nd place. Orr finished with a 74-75 (149) while Cofer added a 72-77 (149) effort. Garrett Compliment had a strong second round finishing 37th with a 78-75 (153) while Jake Duncan finished MC's team scoring with a 49th place finish with a 75-81 (156).
Coach Anthony Monaco will prepare his squad for the next tournament on September 16-17. They will compete in the Rhodes Fall Classic in Tunica, Mississippi.
