Maryville College administrators announced Friday that Ryan Greer and Sara Quatrocky have been hired for positions within the College’s athletics department. Greer joined the College’s staff as a trainer last October and began officially as the director of athletic training on July 8. Quatrocky, who most recently served in the athletics department at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn., has been named associate athletics director. She will begin her tenure at the College Aug. 19.
Maryville College Director of Athletics Kandis Schram has announced that Head Baseball Coach Cody Church has stepped down after five seasons directing the Scots baseball program. With this confirmation, Schram has named Clint Helton the program’s interim head coach while the administration acts swiftly and confidently to hire a person to lead the baseball program with the same passion and commitment shared by the program’s student-athletes and alumni. The Maryville College administration seeks to begin a national search for the head coach position immediately.
The Raul Placeres era within the Maryville College Men’s Basketball program will begin with a bang on November 5th as the Fighting Scots will travel to Middle Tennessee State University to challenge the NCAA Division I Blue Raiders in an exhibition in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
