    Volleyball set to host Bulldogs in 2016 home opener The Maryville College volleyball team, under the direction of Kandis Schram beginning her 31st season, will open their 2016 campaign on Thursday, September 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the Boydson Baird Gymnasium against Tennessee Wesleyan University. The Scots look to improve on their 18-11 effort last season where they went 12-4 in USA South action earning a second place finish in the USA South Southern Division.

    Maryville tabbed tied for first in Western Division poll (FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.) - The USA South Athletic Conference's volleyball coaches have released their 2016 preseason polls. Each divisional preseason poll only includes votes from coaches within that particular division-only. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting. This is the fourth season that the Conference will split into divisions in the sport of volleyball as the Conference welcomes new League members Agnes Scott College, Salem College and Wesleyan College.

This number breaks the previous year's total of 757 to set an all-time high.
